Change password account login Backup Exec

I deploy Symantec Backup Exec 2012 on Windows Server 2008 R2.

Manager account of Backup Exec is also Administrator account of Windows.

I need change password of Administrator account.

Please give me a solution!

 

* I try change password Administrator, but after changing password, Symantec Backup Exec can not start services.

Hello,

Here is the details: Change your password in windows once done follow the instruction to change the password in the Backup exec  User interface and For the services for Backup exec

 

 

 For Password change in BE UI:

1. Select the Backupexec Icon -> Select Configuration and settings -> select logon account -> select manage logon accounts

2. Edit the account which says administrator and click change password and reenter the password you just changed in windows

For password change for services

1.Click the Backup Exec button, select Configuration and Settings, and then select Backup Exec Services.

2.On the Backup Exec Services Manager dialog box, select the appropriate server, and then select the service for which you want to change the service account.

3.Click Edit credentials.

4.Check the Change service account credentials check box.

5.Enter the new user name and password for the service account.

...just make sure you're using a Domain Admins account as this is Symantec best practice.
