Changing removable disks during abackup

Is there any way to script a pause during a backup when the disk is full, I have checked the manuals and cannot find any reference in the scripting section, our back upon has now go over the size of the disk so I need to change disks. I have two drives connected to the media server and I can run a windows script to swap the drive letters over, but the media device needs to be paused to do this. This is for a weekly back up over the weekend hence there is no one around to manually do this.

Hello,

Backup Exec does not support swapping different hard drives in an attempt to use different physical devices for the same backup-to-disk folder in Backup Exec

For more information, refer to the tn below:

If it is possible to have both disks online during the backups, you could define a second backup to disk folder on the second disk, and place both drives in the same Drive Pool, and then point the jobs at the Drive Pool rather than a specific backup folder

Backup Exec should then start on one and continue on the other when the first fills up
