Changing the Logon Account?

We need to change the Logon Account our backups use. After "Replacing" the account inside of the management console is there anything else that needs to be done liek restarting the Backup Exsec Remote Agent on each server or restarting service on the Backup Exec server?

Hello,

Please check if the BE services are running under same account on the BE server, remote agent service must run on Local system account. We do not ave to do anything on the remote servers.

Make sure if services are started under the same account then please

click on tools - backup services - service credentials and put the account name , domain name and restart the services. All the services will start under the new account with the new password.

Also if your SQL(bkupexec) is in domain account or same account then make sure you manually change the password for the same.
