The simple navigation in Cloud user interface is designed to make the Backup Exec administrator’s job quick and efficient.

Easier cloud storage device creation workflow -

Cloud Storage device creation workflow is now simple.

In the earlier release, you had to know the server-name to enter while configuring a cloud storage device. Now with Backup Exec 16 FP1 there is a list of cloud providers from which you can select one.

When you select “S3” as the provider, on the next screen, you see the list of all S3 providers that Backup Exec supports, including Private Cloud Instance if configured on your Backup Exec machine, and you need to select one. This makes the cloud storage device creation process very simple.
