Recently purchased backup exec 12.5 and am confused about the program. I downloaded both zip files and ran the install. All I seem to have installed is Continuous Protection Server and the Backup exec remote agent utility. I can't see how to configure the Continuous Protection Server to our tape drive. Am I missing the actual Backup Exec program where this is configured?
I configured the Continuous Protection Server to back up to a removeable hard drive but that brought our whole system to a halt. Regardless, we'd like to back up to our tape drive.
If someone can set me straight on whether or not I'm missing a component to this install and where I can configure to back up to a tape drive that would be great. Running this on a Windows 2003 server and the tape drive is a Quantum DLT-V4.
