I use Backup Exec for Windows Servers 10d and Continuous Protection Server
on Windows 2003 Server
On Windows 2003 Server installed
1. Backup Exec 10d
2. DLO
3. Continuous Protection Server
My Fiest problem:
DLO users in workstation use Symantec BackUp Agent, but theirs computer don't entered to Windows domain ( Users work in Windows Work Group, Windows XP home). Users have login and password in Windows Xp home identity with user information on Active Directory on Windows 2003 Server
Problem:
If user restart his computer and Windows Xp home was start BackUp Agent need to enten user name, domaen and password and it very big problem for users.
Save login password during aothorization not effective.
My Second problem:
My Users need acceess to Wib interface to use you back up files. I Use
Continuous Protection Server. My backup destenation denote to users backup folder witch use in DLO server. I have snapshot every 1 hour.
Problem:
if users go to https://server:83443/BeRetrieve, users logon and see error
Unable to list protected servers. Please contact the Administrator.
