Corrupt file on verify problem

Deven
Level 3
 Hello,

Our backup failed last night, with the following error -

"\\<server name>\Microsoft Exchange Mailboxes\00519DB727417C10C019868D1835FB2479ABB770CA2839EC" is a corrupt file.

My problem is, from the error message above, I can’t determine in which mailbox the corrupt file resides? Is there a method for doing so?

Presumably the string "00519DB727417C10C019868D1835FB2479ABB770CA2839EC" can be tied down to a specific mailbox, but how?

I'm running backexec v11d under small business server 2003.

Thanks

Deven

Hello Deven,

Try doing a backup using the legacy method with DETAILED logigng enabled. This will show what email is corrupt.

Hope this helps

Hi Deven,

Check this link out...it mentions Exchange maintenance tasks running at the same time as the backup:
