We are attempting to create an SDR disk for one of our systems due to a DR test scheduled soon.
When attempting to run the creation of the SDR iso file we receive an error of "Cannot open the file <C:\Users\..\Appdata\local\temp\CUSTOMSDRD2\2SOURCES\BOOT.WIM
Currently unsure what the issue is or how to fix it.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Can anyone help regarding this?

Hmm - I tried to see if that issue had been seen internally however we did not get many cases and they were all some time ago (prior to changes in our case handling system) so they now lack some details.
One of them did indicate that the solution was to carefully follow this tech article - http://www.veritas.com/docs/000094676
But did not indicate where a mistake may have been made.
Unfortunately as BE 2012 is 2 BE versions out of date, any newer updates about SDR and any documentation will not apply.
As a general recommendation though I would suggest you plan to get to the current BE version (BE 15 Fp4) if you can as we are no longer providing updates to BE 2012 and can only really provide technical assistance for configuration steps and existing documented problems or scenarios. Don't go to BE 15 without carefully checking the HCL and SCL however as we have discontunued support for some older technologies (for instance 32 bit Backup Exec servers are no longer supported )

I did find this - which might be slightly applicable.
