Credentials Pass on Cluster , but not Cluster 2

Been failing backups over the last week on our file server; Server 2008/BE 2012.

Credentails fail when tested. Relized we were on Clu02 and move to Clu01 and suddenly credentials test fine and backup are working.

Account is in the local administrators group on both systems.

Ideas what could cause this?

Remove the agent from Clu02 and re-add it via push-install and see if this fixes things.

Do backups still complete successfully if the VMs are located on Clu02?

Backups fail on Clu02, we are doing a full right now to 'catch up' on Clu01 successfully. 

Will remove and push agent, and test.
