This issue could also be a result of Microsoft Outlook being open on a remote machine during backup operation Backup Exec for Windows NT and Windows 2000 will produce an error in the log file stating that the .pst and/or .pab files are corrupt and the job will fail
To resolve this issue, please perform either of the following:
1. Verify that Microsoft Outlook is closed before the backup operation is performed or
2. Use the Backup Exec for Windows NT and WIndows 2000 Open File Option during the backup operation
