Custom Report Field Dropdown is Empty

I'm trying to create a custom report in Backup Exec that utilizes the filter field "status".  I want it to read "status<>running".

Unfortunately, after selecting "status" from the fields dropdown, and "does not equal" from the operator dropdown, I find nothing in the values dropdown, except the instruction to "select value".  I tried typing in the word "running", but that does not activate the "add" button.

Am I missing a step?

This appears to be an issue with the installation of the admin GUI on my pc.  I went to another pc and accessed the GUI from there.  I brought up the report I had created at my pc and found the values list totally populated when I edited the filter.

So whatever is the cause, it is specific to my pc.
