Cut DLO data and copy to removable drive

We are currently using BEWS 12.5 and we also installed the 5 free DLO desktop together with additional 10 DLO licenses. As of the moment, the network storage for our DLO data left with 44KB of free space. Is it possible to cut dlo data backup of some users and copy it to removable drive and just paste it again on the original storage if we need to restore something? We want it to do to free up some space to continue DLO backup. We've been doing this to our backup to disk of BEWS, we cut .bkf file and copy it to external drive to free up space, but with DLO we're not sure if that's possible.

You can't cut and paste the data - however you can configure DLO so that some users use one Data Store and some use another.

Oh and BTW it is very dangerous to cut and past BKF files out of B2D folders - depending on your media sets and media use it is possible to corrupt a media family in a way that will have a negative impact on cataloguing the files at a later date. It is possible that you are using a scanario that won't cause a problem - for instance if you are starting all your backup jobs as overwrites, have all your media sets configured with to Infinite Overwrite protection and never delete the BKF files you have cut from the file system out of the Backup Exec database then you might be OK - I do however hope you have tested that in the  event of loss of catalog information you can still recover data with the way you are managing your media.
