We have Maintenance failures and alerts about reached the 4-GB limit.
BEDB has size 3500mb. TOP table: dbo.CatSynthTable ---> 2700MB
What is this table and how can i shrink it?

No, we don't use deduplication.

Looks like the limit of database max size is reached for SQL express hosting the BEDB. Can you mention the version of SQL express and Backup Exec, please?
You can migrate the BEDB to new SQL server instance using steps mentioned in this article, https://www.veritas.com/support/en_US/article.100001771

Backup exec 21.2 rev 1200. Microsoft SQL Server 2014 Express edition has a database size limit to 10GB.
It's not problem yet.
I want to know what CatSynthTable table for and why it's growing so fast only on this installation.
And can i truncate table?

I would suggest that you don't mess around with the BEDB. This may render your BE unusable. Log a support case instead.
