DB compatibility issue

When trying to install MS SQL Server 2008 on Windows server 2012, found there is compatibility issues warning. Any impact to BE2014 ? Can I ignore the error and continue to install MS SQL Server 2008 SP3 on Windows server 2012, and use BE 2014 without protential problem?

Found 2008 R2 also not compatible with Windows server 2012, but the installation source will install 2008 R2 sp2 by default.

...this is a Microsoft issue. I would say it would work, but best to ask on the MS forums instead. Otherwise move to SQL Express 2012/SQL 2012 which will be.

It is probably something that you have done wrong. There is no report that SQL 2008 R2 cannot be used with Server 2012. Also, by default, BE loads SQL Express 2008 R2, not SQL 2008 R2 and BE will not use an unsupported configuration. As previously advised, check with Microsoft
