Hello @ll
Little question. We have a server by one of our customers wich are using backup exec 2012 with all patches installed. The systems are windows server 2008 r2 wich are doing dfs to each other.
Backups are running well (successfully). But since one week backup are taking 16 houres to finish and nomore 2:30 houres. I readed this thread:
http://www.symantec.com/connect/forums/slow-backups-dfsr-directories
But i think this should no more be applicable on bex2012?! Could you give me an input how to make the system work faster?
Greetings
PS: Perhaps a little Best Practice for backing up DFS.... ?
PS2: Other question, if we deselect the second server wich where the copies of dfs folders, we have nomore SDR! Is there a way to disable it and having also SDR?

...have you tried restarting the media server and running the backup again?
