DLO client with Blue screen Error: c000021a

Hi Everyone:

I just started working with Veritas Backup Software.

We had installed the application on a some end user's computers without any problems. But we had a few problems with a few o those. We are getting a windows blue screen (dead blue screen) with the following error:

c000021a

We are using Dell optiplex GX270 / GX260

Windows XP Pro SP2
Trend Micro OfficeScan


Does anyone have any experience with a similar problem??

I did some homework; and I found that it seems that i have a problem with any the following applications.

- Cisco VPN Client version 4.6.02.0011
- Pass Go Defender Client 4.1.4.12
- CTC Bridge - Unisys T27 Terminal Emulator for windows v 5.30.00

Does anyone have used any of these software combined with Veritas client??/

Are you facing this issue only after installing dlo agent?

Please check the application and system event logs to get the related error.

Please mention the exact error message.

The problem that I have is after installing DLO agent.

I will work on the problem today, and i will post the information requested.

What I was tryin to do, was to isolate the application which it was giving me problems.

Ok this is what I did:

Hardware:
Dell Optiplex GX260 ~2Ghz 256 RAM

(Let me know if you need more details about this)

1. On a fresh installation of windows (reformatted + all windows crital updates + Trend Micro OfficeScan + Microsoft Office)

2. I installed Pass Go Defender Client 4.1.4.12 sucesfully.
3. I instaled DLO Agent and the application started the backup.
3. During the backup process i got a blue screen with the follwing:

I'm able to reboot, but i have to disable DLO agent (kill the process on task manager) from the computer; If I dont do that, it will try to process the backup again and I will get the same bluescreen.
