i have moved all DLO network user data for all the users (150) in our network to a new windows 2003 server. To do this i created an addtional storage location on the new server and from the old server moved the data to this new location. Everything went well and backups are running fine.
My only problem is that all the DLO clients are showing the old server as their media server! I have scoured the help files and Internet and no one seems to know how to change media servers for all the clients. We are decommissioning the old server soon but i cant do that until i change the clients' media server so that they go to the new Win 2003 server.
There seems to be no way to do this from the DLO console.
Thanks very much for that. Ill give that a try, basically i was hoping that this could be done from the console without having to visit every PC but obviously that isnt possible! Thanks again!
