A colleague wants to back up his data to an existing Data Domain unit from Backup Exec. Then he wants to replicate it offsite to another DD device using DD Boost Replication. Can he, in the event of a total loss of the primary site, restore files from the secondary DD unit offsite? He would, of course, have to reinstantiate BE and its DB. But from there, how does BE learn that the alternate Data Domain should now become the primary?
