Daten auf dem NAS automatisch bereinigen

Hallo,

Herry

Hi Herry,

You set this on the media set...check the Admin Guide for more details on this, and you can read the link below for more of an explanation around Append/OPP...

The Youtube clip below shows you where to set them:

It doesn't matter...Append/OPP settings apply to NAS/tape/disk etc. all in the same way.

Check below...

Are you on SP4?  If you are, then the Disk Cartridge Device on the RDX would be managed by DLM and DLM will delete expired backup sets every 4 hours.  If your set your retention correctly, DLM will take care of things.  See my article below

https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/articles/when-backup-sets-are-deleted-under-dlm

The RDX are connected on the NAS, and the NAS-Job copied the data.

BE save the data to the NAS, and do not delete the Files are older than x days.

If I look in the installed versions, I see this informations.25-09-_2014_09-41-28.jpg

If I look on BE-Version, I see this

Where do I find the DLM settings?

If the NAS copy the data over to the RDX then BE will not know about the data on the RDX and will not delete it.

You should not just copy backup sets.  You should always duplicate the backup sets.  See this document

Losing your temper in a public forum is very bad form especially when someone is trying to help you. First of all you are not very good at describing your problem.
