Hi all,

Can you please help me to plot the following data to the Dedplucation Calculator.

Daily Backup - 1 Full 3 Incremental - Retention: 1week

Weekly Backup - 1 Full - Retention: 2weeks

Month Backup - 1 Full - Retention: 3months

You need to input the following:

1. Select the types of servers in question (FileSystem, Exchange etc) and put in the data being backed up;

2. Choose the daily change rate. Some servers, depending on how busy they are, will have higher change rates. Generally select something between 5-10% to be conservative;

3. Choose the Weekly retention along with Monthly retention in.

That should be it.

Sure thing, it's just an indication. You will need to play around with the details in order to get what you want out of it. You need to be happy with the details you put in, in order to get an indicative output.
