Backup Exec 16.0 Rev. 1142 on Windows Server 2012 R2
Original service account was deleted. New service account was created. All services have been correctly associated with the new username/password. All services are running. Deduplication folder stays "Offline".
Error on boot: Storage Warning: PureDisk: SERVERNAME: PureDiskVolume - Unable to authenticate with the OpenStorage Device. Ensure that the logon account that is required to access the device has the correct credentials.
Error testing logon credentials: Unable to connect to the NDMP server, or to the remote computer that is configured as a Remote Media Agent, or to the remote computer that is configured for deduplication.
Error on "Storage" tab: Offline; Unable to authenticate with the OpenStorage device. Ensure that the logon account that is required to access the device has the correct credentials.
"spauser.exe -l" correctly lists the user.
"spauser.exe -c -u" correctly (re)sets the password.
Deduplication folder remains Offline (with the "Logon account" information greyed out). Any ideas on how (or if) this can be remounted?

Thanks for the reply Gurv!
I did use the CLI (BEMCLI> Set-BEDeduplicationDiskStorageDevice -InputObject "Deduplication Storage 0001" -LogonAccount DOMAIN\NewAccount), and while it appears to have updated the account listed in the GUI (under the "Storage" tab), overall, the same problem remains:
All of the same error messages are still present.
"spauser.exe -l" still lists the DOMAIN\OldAccount.
Any other suggestions? This one really has me stumped!
Worst case, does anyone know if it is possible to delete the Deduplication Folder, and still retain the contents? Or will everything be lost, and have to be re-backedup and re-deduped?
