Deleting old logon accounts

I am cleaning up the logon accounts on a backup server.

When I try to delete account X, i am prompted to replace the account becuase it is being used by current jobs\selection lists.

The two jobs it is refering to are restore jobs (2 of them).

I tried looking these in the current jobs and selections lists, but didnt find these two jobs anywhere.

Is this normal behavior?  Can i just replace the creds and delete that account?

Hi MichaelDaddo,

It sounds like you have some corruption in your database.  Since Backup Exec 10d is so old and unsupported I recommend moving to Backup Exec 2010R3. If you can document your current jobs the smoothest path would be to uninstall 10d and do a fresh install of 2010R3.  Backup Exec 2010R3 can be installed from this link http://trialware.norton.com/files/fc/Backup_Exec_2010_13.0.5204_MultiPlatforms_Multilingual_DVD.iso

The multistep upgrade process includes upgrading to 11d then to Backup Exec 12.5 see this how to: http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH68071

after which you can directly upgrade to Backup Exec 2010 R3 seeTechnote http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH159557

Also if you need them here are the links for licensing information:

Go to the BE installation directory and use BEUtility to repair the BEDB, then try to delete the logon account.
