Device and Media Service will not start 2003 Server 64

Installed 11d. No problem with install. When try to run backupexec it hangs trying to load the device and media server. Copy of log below. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi,

Is it a 64 bit system?

Is Backup Exec installed on the default SQL Express instance?

Try starting the service with Local System Account.

Test the connectivity with Backup Exec database:

Please download MDAC Component Checker from here:

Start the "Component Checker".
Select the first Option "Perform analysis of your machine and automatcially determine the release version"

Note down the displayed version.

Select the second option - "Perform analysis against a selected version".

Select the version displayed in the first option.

Check whether any file mismatches are being displayed.
