Disaster Recovery test of Hyper-V VM's using Backup Exec 12.5

Im trying to make a disasterrecovery test of some Hyper-V servers. Ive installed a new server and catalogged the tapes, tried to restore some VM's from different hosts. The first 3 works without issues, the 4'th server fails to restore with this error:

Restore- VRTSRV::\\TEKHYP01\Hyper-V?Virtual?Machine\********** V-79-57344-65097 - An error occurred while completing the operation on VRTSRV::\\TEKHYP01\Hyper-V?Virtual?Machine\**********

An invalid parameter was specified.

The disks seems to be restored, but the configuration is not working. Any ideas?

Hello Hansen,

Is your Hyper-V host being managed by SystemCenter Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM)?

If yes, does http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH70846 help?

Hi Ananya

Thanks for youre reply. Yes there is an System Center, but i dont think they have VMM addon. And it does not explain why the 3 other server worked. There is a snapshot on the last server, could this be the culprit?
