a00081cb - Could not open the script file.
I recieve this error message and document id: 268826 states that I need to contact Techincal Services for a script to resolve this issue.
Do I need a Techinical Services contract in order to recieve the script file?

Thanks

Hello,

In case you call our technical support, you will need to purchase a contract.

Alternatively you may try to upgrade to the latest build of Backup exec, in case you are ont already running it. Refer to the following link for the install files:

http://support.veritas.com/docs/279332

Revert with details if the issue persists.

Note : If we do not receive your reply within two business days, this post would be marked ‘assumed answered’ and would be moved to ‘answered questions’ pool.

He HAS contacted Tech Support (this forum) as instructed by the TechNote. If you cannot point him at the script, DO NOT tell him he has to pay to resolve an acknowledged problem.

You do realize that responses like this are among the reasons that many longtime Veritas supporters feel they can no longer recommend BackupExec, don;t you?
