Does Backup Exec 2014 support SQL Server 2014 as database

We're testing backup exec 2014 with SQL Server 2012 R2 as a backup exec database, after upgrade to SQL Server 2014, backup exec cannot connect to SQL Server anymore.

Does backup exec 2014 support SQL Server 2014 as database? or we should use SQL Server 2012/ embedded SQL Express

BE 2014 does not support SQL 2014 for its BEDB.  See the SCL below

It only support up till SQL 2012 SP2.

SP1 for BE 2014 adds support for SQL 2014 as the BE database repository.
