Backup Exec supports GRT backups to tape but while performing GRT restore you need to stage the

tape backups to disk.

Ahmed: GRT is GRT...so yes. When you restore, you select the date you want to restore from. You don't worry whether or not the date in question was a Full/INCR backup.

You can shortcut the whole process by staging to disk manually and then restoring from there. Ideally you should do your GRT-based Exchange backups to disk if you have the space, and then duplicate to tape.
