We have Veritas Backup Exec 11d Rev. 7170.
We use policy's to create backup's of our information store, first to Disk and then to tape. When we use the GRT option enabled the duplicate slows down speed until 42 MB and the Bye count stops at about 26GB. We have to cancel the job after 10 hours.
After first applying Hotfix 14 we did not see any progress in this case. Symantec clames that the problem has been fixed with this hotfix. After a couple of weeks we installed SP1, and guess what. Still no progress.
Because we need to have a good bricklevel backup of our exchange server on disk and on tape, i am asking Symantec Please fix this problem once and for all.
Any idea's of fixing this problem are welcome, but i think we are not the only one with this problem.
