Hello
I have a verry weird issue. When I make a GRT backup of a virtual SQL server (backup through Host CSV cluster server) to disk, the Job ends succesfully. When I duplicate this backup sets to a tape, the jobs fails with a catalog error.
When I duplicate to a disk, the job completes succesfully.
When I make a backup of a virtual SQL server with GRT Disabled (backup through Host CSV cluster server) to disk, the Job ends succesfully and the duplicate, runs succesfully.
So briefly:
Any ideas?

could you post the below information added to this..
Backup exec version:
Error message from Job log
Also Are you running a manual Duplicate or is it part of a chained job?

Backup exec 2012 sp1a;
It is part of a chained job, but even a manual duplication fails.

Hi,
Seems you have opened yet another query around this issue, as per your discussion below:
https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/catalog-error-one-particular-sever
I will hit the support flag on this, but if you have a support contract in place with Symantec, open up a call with them and post back with a solution if they have helped you!
THanks!

I launched a backup to tape with GRT enabled
10-15-2012 12:07 PM
My backup to tape finished succesfully.
But in the restore section, I cannot find my sharepoint databases.
10-15-2012 12:24 PM
Are you using the Sharepoint agent or the SQL agent to backup the Sharepoint DBs?
10-15-2012 01:20 PM
I have a sharepoint agent and a sql agent.
Beside of that i have a virtual server with sharepoint installed and a virtual server with sql installed.
I have installed an agent on both servers.
