Hello,
I have recently updated my backup exec 2012 server from SP1 to SP2. Now I cannot modify my jobs (or create new one) because the left side of backup properties with Test/Edit Credentials and Edit is always on pending state.
You can see the status in the file attachment.
When I tried to Edit it, I'm always on 'Loading ....' on Browse pane.
This issue applied on all my backups : windows, ESX, ...
I hope you find a solution because the symantec support can help me .. :(
Thanks for your help

Hi,
BE 2012 SP3 is out, so you might want to update to this!
Once done, try editing the job settings again:
Thanks!

Please confirm if all the BE services are started and Backup Exec Remote Agent service is started with a local system account. Are you able to run your existing jobs or do they fail. You could try perfrom extensive repair of the BEDB. First backup data and catalogs folder and then perform steps mentioned in the below technote.

If nothing works, better open a support case.

All BE services are up and running and Backup Exec Remote Agent service is started with 'local system'.
I'm able to run all existing jobs without trouble.
I will try an extensive BEDB repair, I'll inform you.
=> After extensive BEDB repair : No more access to the Edit properties

OK...so if it is worse-off now, repair the installation itself. If this doesn't work, I'd recommend that you log a call directly with Symantec support.
Thanks!

Looks like you have a problem with your system-logon.
create a new login and start the Services with this new one. Then set the Password again at "manage Login accounts" and retry.
I had the same problem a few weeks ago and this worked.

Have you updated the remote agents after applying the service pack 3 ?
