Backup Exec 12.0
Recently I had to repartition my tape library as data had grown to exceed 50% of the library capacity. I understand about editing Policies to change job properties as I've done this before. However, some jobs I needed to change the target library partition. No problem editing the policy, but the change didn't propagate to the job. A simultaneous change to the schedule did propagate to the job.
I think I've done this with earlier versions of Backup Exec (was running 9 and 10 on separate servers) and it worked.
I had to delete the jobs, using Delete Jobs Created by policy, and recreate them where I think they should have been updated when the policy was edited.
This is no longer a problem but I think it's a fault.
