Hi all,

I need to restore all of our users email items between the 8th and 12th of August. Is there a quick way to select restore all items only for these dates?

Regards

Hi all,

Found a solution to my exchange restore problem in the Backup exec restore option for my mail sever.

  • Go to Microsoft Exchange option
  • Go to Microsoft Exchange mailbox items
  • Go to details View tab and select “Insert”

This is where you can add a resource name i.e. your Server name and the database name.

You can also specify the "from/ to:" dates on file level.

Hope this helps

...you can try a filter in the selection, but I suspect you will have to go manually click on these emails.

Thanks!

Thanks CraigV,

I was afraid of that.

I have just spent 3 hrs. ticking all the inbox, calendar etc. in 11 boxes just  to tell me that a socket timed out when I pressed to continue. Lost all of my selections grrr…and now I have to start all over again.

It takes about 2 hrs to do the staging and restores, I hope I dont' have to do them one by one.

Thanks
