Error 1606 Installing Patch on Remote Agent - How do I change the network path?

I keep receiving a BackUp Exec Alert that tells me that I have a Remote Agent Server that is not up to the latest patch level.  When I try to update it, I get an error (Install failed with error code 1603.)  When viewing the log files, I find the following error

11-01-2010,12:15:43 : ERROR: Error 1606.Could not access network location \\spfs\users\bent\My Documents\.
11-01-2010,12:15:43 : ERROR: Error 1606.Could not access network location \\spfs\users\bent\My Documents\.

The error makes sense to me as this network location no longer exists as the server has been replaced.  Where would I change this path to reflect the new server's name and file path???

Thank you for the information but I still get the same error.  I should provide some more information.  The 'Host' Server is running Windows 2008 R2 64-bit, the server where the Remote Agent is running and needs to be patched is running Windows Server 2008 Std 64-bit.

Hello

You will have to reinstall the remote agent if the above link does not fix the issue.

For a 64 bit OS, the registry path is slightly different. It would be:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\Backup Exec For Windows\Backup Exec\13\Install\Path (x86)

If this still fails, try to manually update RAWS by referring to this KB - http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH70657
