Hello,
I am just like to have a confirmation about this error.
I was thinking to first uninstall the installed backupexec agent 2010 (which gave the error), then reinstall the backupagent of backupexec 11d (manual or push), then install the version of backupexec 12 (manual or push) and then at last I push the install of the backupagent 2010. But I am not compleatly sure that this will workaround this error.
Can anyone tell me?
Kind regards,
Remco

Hi,
Uninstall the agent and then make sure all entries are removed from the registry (Back it up first!!!) and your installation directory.
Once done, do a push-install from the media server and see if you get it again.
Thanks!
EDIT: The TN below confirms it:
http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH162635
...so make sure your media server is fully patched before doing the push-install.
