I have my Veritas 11D running on my domain controller (dc1). I've been getting an error that says it cannot connect to the remote agent on server \\dc1\ and then errors out.
Looking at the job logs, there are two entries for DC1, the data that uses the local agent and backs up fine and then something listed as \\DC1. (with the period) that errors out. Looking at my selection list, this 'server' pretains to the backup of system state. If I remove system state from my selection list then I do not get an error.
The specific error message is:
V-79-57344-3844
But, again, this is not a remote computer, it is the local DC.
