Error Critical Sectioning Prevents requested FATFS operation

I have an older server with Netware 6.5 Sp7 and Backup Exec remote agent 9.2 loaded on it.   When our main Backup Exec 9.2 server tries to backup the remote server, the remote server crashes with the following error:

Error Critical Sectioning Prevents requested FATFS operation

What is happpening and how might I go about correcting it?
