The following message appears when a "standard" user is trying to start up Windows Backup Exec 11d.
"The application failed to initialize properly (0xc000142). Click OK to terminate the application."
I am a domain admin and I am able to successfully execute the backup application using my user account.
Its a Dell SC1420 with an Ultrium 2 LTO2 tape drive. We're running Windows 2003 server. This is a domain controller so I cannot make my regular users an admin to the box itself.
Any suggestions?
