Error Message at End of Job?

 I am getting this error at the end of the job.
First thought is that the tape is bad.
Any other Ideas as to what could be the cause.

Storage device "EXABYTE 1" reported an error on a request to write data to media.

Error reported:
Data error (cyclic redundancy check)

 Hello Mike,

CRC error typically reflect tape media or tape drive errors.

If you go into the properties tab of the device you will probably note a high amount of "Hard read/write & Soft read/write" errors.

Try replacing the tape, clean the drive if necessary, if the error still persists replace the drive & see how you go.
