Hi Guys,
I’m getting this random error's in my backup server and occasionally id get 3 in a row and the tape arms go offline but the backup san would stay online
We use an LTO4 tape library and this is linked to a backup san where we run backup to Disk on a daily basis. basically we use Backuptodisk then to tape
System details:
Operating system: Windows 2003
Server: HP proliant DL380G5
Backup: backup exec 11D
Tape Library: HP Storageworks MSL 4048 Tape library
San: Hp Storageworks MSA20
System errors found in event log:
Error: The device, \Device\Scsi\express21, did not respond within the timeout period.
Error: The device, \Device\Scsi\express24, did not respond within the timeout period.
Error: The device, \Device\Scsi\express24, did not respond within the timeout period.
Once these occur the robotic arm goes offline
Any help would be appreciated
