Error V-79-40960-38507 in BE 2012...

I keep receiving the following error for some of the servers in BE 2012:

V-79-40960-38507

Backup Exec was unable to obtain the virtual machine's configuration data.

I can't seem to find information on this error anywhere, has anyone else seen this or had this issue?

Hi,

 

Make sure you're running the latest service pack for BE 2012, and that you're actually backing up a supported OS on the VMs as well.

BE 2012 doesn't support WIndows Server 2012 R2 for instance.

Is BE 2012 fully patched ?

Would you post the complete job log here as well ? Thanks.

BE is fully patched (unless there's a newer service pack than SP4) and none of the machines are running WS 2012 R2. Half of them are running 2008 R2 and the other half are running 2012.

I have attached the log file.

Checked internally and there were few cases logged for this error which were resolved by either reinstalling the remote agent and/or ensuring the BE account has been provided appropriate permissions.

But it does support 2012 (no R2) right? Because the server is running 2012.
