Error al añadir un servidor en Backup Exec 2014

Hola.

Tengo un disco NAS del que quiero hacer copia de seguridad a cinta. El disco tiene una IP asignada dentro de la red, y forma parte del dominio. El problema es que al intentar añadirlo como servidor de ficheros, intenta añadirlo pero finalmente da un error de conexión. No es un problema de credenciales ni nada parecido. De hecho ya lo he conseguido añadir varias veces, y hacer copias de seguridad durante un tiempo; pero llega un momento en que Backup Exec pierde la comunicación con él, y ya no hay forma de ejecutar la tarea. La única solución es eliminar el servidor, y volverlo a dar de alta. Y como comentaba anteriormente, para darlo de alta hay que intentarlo muchas veces hasta que le da por conectarse...

¿Hay alguna solución?

Do the following:

1. In the hosts file of the media server, add in the IP address and name of the NAS.

2. Make sure the BE service account is added as an admin locally on the NAS.

Then try the backups again.

I´m trying to add the server by IP, so i don´t need to add the name on hosts.

I´ve created de account in the NAS, but the problem continues. Anyway, the NAS has Public acces for everyone in the network.

BE tries for 15 - 20 seconds to add the server, but finish with the same message:

"El servidor no puedo completar la operación solicitada. Se ha producido un fallo de comunicaciones"

Any other suggestion?

...try adding it as a Linux server. I assume you also have the relevant remote agent license installed on the media server?

Make sure you update your DNS Server with the IP address of the NAS
