Error during full backup with Hyper-V VSS, not during individual VM backup through Hyper-V Vss API

Hello,

We have 2 Windows 2016 Servers used only for Hyper-V features, and a Windows 2016 server with Backup Exec 16, agents are installed on the Hosts and all the VMs. Each of the physical servers host about 5 VMs. We have setup on a "round-robin" basis a backup of the VMs during the Week, so each day 1 VM from each physical server is backuped through Hyper-V VSS without any problem.

To add a "Belt and Bracers" backup, i created 2 special tasks during the weekend to do a Full Backup of the Hyper-V hosts, and these 2 tasks got errors  "Final error: 0xa0009643 - One or more virtual machines have been excluded from the backup." on one VM for each physical server, every time the same machines (winidows 2016 server, the first is a DC and the second a Intranet IIS server)

I cannot understand why the tasks done during the week for the same server through the same settings is working, and not the full backup.

Please check whether the option "Exclude virtual machines that must be put in a saved state to back up" in the job settings is selected. If yes, please uncheck that from the Weekend backup and check the result.

Or, Please select the VMs and other local volumes explicitely, instead of selecting the entire server from the top, and check whether it works. If the issue is not solved, please open a support case with Veritas.
