Error reported: No data is on the tape.. WTF???

This error log appears every time i run the backup job. I never had a problem before, i dont know whats going on right now.
I've try disableing compression, shutting down the verify prossess after write... but nothing seems to fix this out.
Can anyone assist me?? o_O

That error is coming from your tape device. During verify, Backup Exec tells the tape device to go to a specific marker on the tape and the tape device throws up an error that it has gotten to the end of the tape before finding the location. I'd first try running a cleaning cartridge through the drive a couple times. Also, look for system events related to the tape device (event ID 7/9/11/15). I suspect a hardware problem.
