Ran the Invetory and catalog job.

run a restore for the files I wanted and shose to store on a different location ( \\server\drive:  + Path) use the same service account when running the backup jobs.

Hi Nidall,

You can try these steps:

1. Run an inventory on the disk storage, which contains the backed up data.

2. Go to global settings and click on Catalogs and uncheck the option "Use storage media-based catalogs". You can re-check this option once the restore is done.

3. Restart Backup Exec services.

For Backup Exec 2010 R3 and earlier versions: Tools - Backup Exec Services - Service Credentials
For Backup Exec 2012 and above: Backup Exec button - Configuration and Settings - Backup Exec services.

4. Attempt the restore now.

Thanks!!
