Hi everybody,
One of my customers recently installed Trend Micro V7 since this installation he had backup problems with Backup Exec 12.
Backup -- \\SITURV002\H:
V-79-57344-65033 - Cannot find directory. Unable to backup directory \Program Files\Trend Micro\Clie... his subfolders
There was an exclude rule configured on the job so i deleted it (I think folders moved during the migration from trend 6 to 7)
The backup worked fine for two days but today i had an other error on the backup job :
Backup -- C:
V-79-57344-65033 - Cannot find directory. Unable to backup directory \Config.Msi and his subfolders
I looked on the C: and have not been able to find the Config.Msi folder even in protected system files or hidden files.
It looked on the tape and the backup seems to be correct but this error is annoying and my customer won't understand why there is an error.
Does anyone have an idea about this?
Thanks
Regards

Have you enabled Advanced open File Option (AOFO) in the backup job. It would be good idea to try the backups with AOFO enabled as it will take a snapshot of the files and back it up if even if the files are locked by any other application like anti virus.
Thanks,

In the selection screen, click on the View by Details tab, locate the entry for C;\config.msi and delete it.
