Errors on DBCC Sql & Netware Schema Backup

Deborah_Wheaton

Running Backup Exec 10d....
On the Database Consistency Check to a remote Windows 2000 server get
"An unknown or unexpected database error occurred
Server user 'IRMA\Veritas' is not a valid user in database 'XAppSecurityXRef'
I have given user "veritas" all rights to all the databases...what am I missing?
Also, on my netware server I can backup ALL files, groupwise post offices, etc. (new with version 10d I had to change the login name to fully distinquished name)....but when it gets to the netware directory (schema) etc., with the same login acount I get:
Access is denied to Remote Agent. Check the login account for the specified device.

Hi,

Verify that the logon account used has administrator rights to the Windows server that the SQL instance is installed on.

Please try running DBCC manually through SQL 2000 and check if it reports some error.

Also try running the DBCC within Backup Exec without including the indexes.

For more information on SQL Consistency Checker Utility, please refer to the following TechNote:

We also request you to open a new forum post for each new issue. (in your case netware issue)

NOTE : If we do not receive your reply within two business days, this post would be marked "assumed answered" and would be moved to "answered questions" pool.
