Event ID 17055

I have recieved literally thousands of these events from BackupExec since applying MS Security patches.

The error is as follows:

Type: Information

Source: MSSQL$BKUPEXEC

Category: (2)

Event ID: 17055

Description:

17052:

This SQL Server has been optimized for 8 concurrent queries. This limit has been exceeded by 5 queries and performance may be adversely affected.

Is anyone else recieving these errors, and does anyone know what to do about them?

That was the first place i went. The solutions they offer do not address this specific event.

I am getting this error about once a minute. Can anyone else check their logs and see if this is occuring to them also?

I installed SP4 for MSDE2000 and this problem is no longer occuring.

I'm getting the same errors. Did you have any problems installing SP4 for MSDE2000 ?
