Connecting to an Exchange 2003 Enterprise Information Store on Windows 2003 SP2 via remote agent.
Full backups of Exchange information store was working perfectly for over 1 week. Out of the blue, the job started to fail with the above error.
Going into the resource selection showed that the Information Store was no longer present under the Server resource selection list.
Rebooted both machines twice and information store reappeared as a selection and allowed a manual job to be ran, which ended successfully.
The next scheduled job ran last night to complete a backup and the exact same error occured with the information store not showinfg as a selection again.
All licensing is in place for Exchange.
Connectivity and authentication for all jobs is successful.
Any ideas?
