Exchange Agent on remote server

I have two servers one with exchange 2007 on and the other with the backup device attached.

I have installed the remote agent and exchange agent.

When I browse to add the exchange mailboxes on the remote server I cannot see them.

How can I backup individual mailboxes?

I just went through this yesterday..

On the Backup Exec 11d Build 7170 You need to install..

1) Powershell

2) Exhange Admin

On the Exchange Server

1) Agent

2) MAPI Client

See the links below for more info.. Once I did that, and did a few reboots of both the backup and the exchange server.. I was good to go..

Hi CharlesLove  Thanks for your reply.

I have managed to get it working now.

Why isn't backup exec updated to the correct version using live update? It seems a waste of time running live update if it dosent update the software to the latest version.

any why make it so complicated and have to reboot a server so many times to get the software installed. Normally if you are backing up to an exsisting server the server is live and getting the users off is an impossible task.
