Exchange BackUp Issue

I'm backing up Exchange servers which is in DAG.

I've created two policies one called as Exchange-Mon,Wed,Fri and Exchange-Tue,Thu,Sat

The policy that ran yesterday Exchange-Mon,Wed,Fri failed with the error

" Final error: 0xe0000397 - Cannot extract mailbox messages from the Exchange backup. Review the job log for more information.
Final error category: Resource Errors

But the policy which was supposed to run today for the same Exchange server Exchange-Tue,Thu,Sat was succsessful today.

Would like to know why the backup failed for the Exchange-Mon,Wed,Fri policy. I'm searching the error but I'm not getting relevant technotes.

Hi Dishant,

 

Are there any maintenance tasks running on the days your backup fails? Any AV scans, or Exchange tasks for example?

The TN below specifically references an AV scanning a specific folder, so you might want to check it out...

Check if there are differences between the two jobs.
You can create a copy of the working job, and then modify it to run on the other days and rename it.
